My coming out story wasn't that great. It was freshmen year, so about three years ago and I was kicked out of my room cause my mom was in my bedroom using my computer for some reason. I was watching Degrassi and Marco was telling his parents for the first time that he was gay. I was very inspired. I mean, that year I had been dating a girl I like online for about five months, I had been feeling feelings I couldn't explain, I just felt I should tell my parents about all what was going on in my head. So I walked up to my mom, turned her around and explained it all from start to finish.
The first thing that came out of her mouth, "Your not gay." and after that was a battle. I ended up dumping the girl and we got back together back and forth for a little less then a year for other reasons, but I had to figure out what was going on through out my head. Then a little less then a year later I told my mom again and she excepted it but went back with the whole, "you not gay" again thing. I didn't understand. It took even more of a battle to understand why she couldn't except me. I told my dad eventually and he just said he would love me either way I go. Which made me very happy.
